Burlington Parks and Recreation runs the Melanie Davidian Basketball League. Participants are a welcoming, inclusive group of people and accept players of all skill levels, who are over the age of 18. This is a LGBTQIA inclusive league that includes cis-women, trans, intersex, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals. This language is not exhaustive and we welcome you to reach out if you feel this community could be a fit for you.

Participants must register as a team. Individuals looking to join a team are welcome to meet team captains, at a pre-season meeting, that will be held at the Miller Center on October 15, at 6pm, however we cannot guarantee placement on a team.

With a lifetime of experience in nearly every area of the game, including some time in the NHL, we know that once hockey finds a way inside your heart and starts to pump through your veins, you're in for the long haul.

We at Full Stride want to share our knowledge and passion for the game with you. We offer a variety of different adult and youth instructional clinics for all age levels and all skill levels. Full Stride is Vermont's premier adult recreational hockey league, which accommodate all skill levels, co-ed, and women only leagues. It's never too late to learn how to play hockey. Play better. GameOnVT.com will be running a Intermediate level field hockey league throughout the fall and winter at the Shelburne Field House. Teams play 7v7 for two 25-minute running time halves on a reduced field with an official. Full equipment is required.

The league will have three 8-week sessions starting in October and running through December. The cost is $100 per player per session or $1,000 per team (10 player minimum).

The league is open to all ability levels but is geared to former high school and college level players. Novice players and beginners are encouraged to join the recreational league.

Join Game On as we offer a Fall adult 6v6 indoor volleyball league on Tuesday evenings in South Burlington. This program is geared to the recreational and social players. Teams will play a minimum of three matches per night over a 7 week regular season and a one day tournament at the end. Teams will play for 1 hour starting at 6:30, 7:30, or 8:30pm.

Players can register as a full team of 6-10 players. If you don't have a team you can sign up as a free agent and will be merged with other players as space allows. There are no gender requirements for this program but teams are encouraged to be coed.

For ages 18 and up. Put together a team for the GameOnVT.com Co-Ed Adult Broomball League. Teams must have a minimum of six players and a maximum of 12. The 10 week regular season will end in a single elimination tournament. Helmets and mouthguards are recommended. Sticks and balls are provided.

Game On offers three sessions of adult floor hockey leagues throughout the year.

The summer league is an 8-10 week floor hockey season for adults. Games will be played on the small rink at Leddy Park in Burlington. The arena has removed the ice for the summer.

The Fall and Winter leagues are 12-13 weeks long. We are currently working on a new venue for the 2025/2026 season. Depending on gym availability the dates and times may be subject to change. We hope to have a location finalized by August 1st.

This is a noncontact, semi-competitive league open to anyone 18+. There are no gender requirements or restrictions for this program.
