Week one includes a brief introduction to pickleball and a review of the rules and game play. An instructor and experienced players will be available to answer questions and offer tips, but this is a playing league rather than a structured instructional program.

Program Details

• Level: Beginner, 2.5–3.0.
• Format: Doubles league play, with three games per night against different opponents.
• Scoring: Games are played to 11 points, win by two.
• Registration: Register as an individual or a team of two.

What to Expect

What to Wear and Bring

• Clean, non-marking footwear required: Court-specific athletic shoes are preferred. Bring clean shoes to change into before stepping onto the court.
• Eye protection: Highly recommended.
• Paddle: Bring your own if you have one. Loaner paddles are available during league play.
• Athletic attire: Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
• Water: Bring a water bottle.
