Build on your pickleball skills with GameOnVT’s Low Intermediate Indoor Pickleball League! Enjoy friendly competition, meet other players, and develop consistency through weekly games. Designed for players in the 3.0–3.25 range who know the basics and are ready for more sustained rallies and developing strategy.

This league combines a social atmosphere with opportunities to challenge yourself on the court. No formal instruction is provided, but an instructor and experienced players are available to answer questions and offer tips.

Program Details

• Level: Low intermediate, 3.0–3.25.
• Format: Doubles league play, with three games per night against different opponents.
• Scoring: Games are played to 11 points, win by two.
• Registration: Register as an individual or a team of two.
• Who can play: Players of all genders; no gender requirements for teams.
• Player support: No formal instruction is provided. An instructor and experienced players are available for questions and tips.
• Equipment: Balls are provided, and paddles are available for use during league play.

Is Low Intermediate Right for You?

This league is a good fit if you understand the rules and scoring, can serve and return with some consistency, and can sustain basic rallies. You may still be developing shot placement, control, and confidence moving between the baseline and the kitchen line.

You don’t need to have every shot mastered. Come ready to work with your partner, try different approaches, and enjoy competitive games in a recreational setting. If you’re still learning the rules or getting comfortable serving and rallying, our Beginner Indoor Pickleball League may be a better starting point.

What to Expect

You’ll play three games each night against different opponents, giving you opportunities to experience different playing styles and practice your teamwork. Expect a step up from beginner play while keeping the emphasis on friendly competition and participation.

Communicate with your partner, make fair calls, and treat opponents with respect. Questions about a rule or a particular shot? An instructor and experienced players are available to help.

What to Wear and Bring

• Clean, non-marking footwear required: Court-specific athletic shoes are preferred. Bring clean shoes to change into before stepping onto the court.
• Eye protection: Highly recommended.
• Paddle: Bring your own if you have one. Loaner paddles are available during league play.
• Athletic attire: Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
• Water: Bring a water bottle.
