Designed for players in the 3.5–3.75 range who bring consistent fundamentals and are developing a more strategic, well-rounded game.

This league offers a step up in pace and strategy while maintaining a recreational, social atmosphere. This is a playing league; no formal instruction is provided.

Program Details

• Level: High intermediate, 3.5–3.75.
• Format: Doubles league play, with three games per night against different opponents.
• Scoring: Games are played to 11 points, win by two.
• Registration: Register as an individual or a team of two.
• Who can play: Players of all genders; no gender requirements for teams.
• Equipment: Balls are provided, and paddles are available for use during league play.

Is High Intermediate Right for You?

This league is a good fit if you serve and return consistently, sustain rallies with purposeful placement, and feel comfortable exchanging dinks and volleys at the kitchen line. You’re using a mix of drives and softer shots and developing more reliable third-shot drops and resets.

You should understand doubles positioning, move with your partner, and recognize opportunities to attack or keep the ball in play. You’re still refining consistency under pressure, but you can participate comfortably in quicker exchanges and adjust to different opponents.

What to Expect

You’ll play three games each night against different opponents. Expect a mix of patient rallies, quick exchanges, and opportunities to use placement and teamwork to create openings.

Competitive games and a friendly atmosphere go together. Communicate with your partner, make fair calls, and respect your opponents. Bring your best effort while keeping the experience enjoyable for everyone.

What to Wear and Bring

• Clean, non-marking footwear required: Court-specific athletic shoes are preferred. Bring clean shoes to change into before stepping onto the court.
• Eye protection: Highly recommended.
• Paddle: Bring your own if you have one. Loaner paddles are available during league play.
• Athletic attire: Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
• Water: Bring a water bottle.
